| 摘 要： | 大力发展农村职业教育，着力提高广大农民的综合素质，是推进社会主义新农村建设的一项基础性工程。本文依据对江苏沛县农村职业技术教育典型调查，结合沛县农村经济发展的现状得出了以下结论：农村职业教育与农村经济发展呈互相推动态势；农村职业教育的发展呈稳定增长趋势；农村职业教育机制改革呈各部门联动趋势。尽管如此，农村职业教育仍是当前教育体系中最薄弱的环节，严重阻碍着农村经济的全面发展。文章就沛县农村职业技术教育的长远发展提出了一些建议。
