| 摘 要： | 云南护国运动在中国民主革命进程中所产生的巨大作用及其光荣的历史地位,中外历史学家早有定论.但对护国运动的若干史实,以及主要领导人物唐继尧的评价等问题,至今仍众说不一.经考证认为:护国运动并非蔡锷到滇才开始;护国运动选择云南是历史的必然;唐继尧与蔡锷在护国运动中均发挥了非常重要的历史作用.

| Abstract: | The historic and glorious role of Yunnan's Defending Republicanism Movement in the process of China's democratic revolution has been confirmed by historians at home and abroad.However,there are controversies over some historical facts concerning Yunnan's Defending Republicanism Movement and the leading figure Tang Jiyao.This paper concludes that Yunnan's Defending Republicanism Movement had started before Cai E arrived at Yunnan which was an unavoidable choice in history.Both Tang Jiyao and Cai E played a key role in Yunnan's Defending Republicanism Movement. |
