在精读课教学中实施研究性教学的必要性

摘    要:作为本科院校英语专业的一门主要课程,精读课的主要目的在于全面培养和提高学生的英语运用能力,提升学生的人文素养。但目前精读课的教学现状并不理想。文章从课堂教学现状、精读课课程内容、教师角色和学生角色四个方面论述了研究性教学在精读课教学中实施的必要性,旨在提高精读课教学效果,全面提升新时期英语人才的质量。

Abstract:As a major course, intensive reading aims to cultivate students' comprehensive ability of using English and their humanistic accomplishment. Yet the present teaching of intensive reading is not satisfactory. The research-based teaching of intensive reading combines classroom teaching with after-class practice, teacher's leading with students' self-study, and textbook reading with supplementary reading. This paper analyzes the necessity of implementing research-based teaching in the course of intensive reading from four aspects, aiming to improve the teaching of intensive reading.
