| Abstract: | The third-person pronouns play an important role in the discourse cohesion.The writer of the article tried to make an exploratory comparison between the Chinese and English discourses in order to find out the different uses of the third-person pronouns as means to realize the cohesion of the discourse and the influences of such differences on the Chinese-English translation. |
