| Abstract: | Though Mi Fu, a famous painter and calligrapher in the Northern Song Dynasty(960-1127) , once stayed in Lianshui as Head of Prefecture for only two years( 1077-1099), he not only left behind a dozen of poems and a number of calligraphy works, but made great achievements in his official career for his benevolence to the local people at large. |
