| 摘 要： | 唐代处斩死因犯，一般仍沿前代旧规，在闹市区行刑。但唐肃宗后，除在长安城两市之处，又在独柳树处斩死刑犯人，迄至唐末迁都为止。为何要设此刑场？经考证独柳树处在长安城的皇城西南角丁字路口上，凡被斩于此都均属政治要犯，有儆诫百官、以防效尤的政治用意。

| Abstract: | In Tang Dynasty prisoners were executed traditionally in downtown areas. After the reign of Emperor Suzhong, besides the two in downtown areas, there was one more execution ground in Duliushu which was in use until the establishment of a new capital in the late period of Tang Dynasty. Research has found that this place was located at the crossroads in the southwestern corner of the imperial city in the capital as the execution ground for important political prisoners in order to make it a warning to officials. |
