| 摘 要： | 话语的语用模糊是人类交际的重要手段。通过模糊话语的使用，说话人可避免或减少与听话人对抗的风险和遭拒绝的尴尬等面子威胁，有效的为交际双方赢得正面的社会价值．树立起各自的“公众形象”。

| Abstract: | Pragmatic ambivalence is an important means in human communications, it widely exists in authentic contextual discourse. The vast utilization of it reflects the capability of human being's command of language and the flexible philosophy to the world rather than the shortage of human expression. The avoidance and reduction of the "face" threat can be achieved through the application of pragmatic ambivalence, hence the positive social value and public image for the communicative participators can be established respectively. |
