| 摘 要： | 英语缩略语的使用已遍及社会生活的各个领域。WTO英语文本也使用了大量的缩略语。这些缩略语在种类、构成、内容、语源、语体等方面,同普通英语缩略语相比,既有其共同点,又有不同点。对WTO英语缩略语与普通英语缩略语进行比较研究,既可以丰富和发展英语缩略语的理论知识,又可以扫清WTO英语文献学习中的语言障碍,进而完整、准确地掌握WTO的有关知识。

| Abstract: | English abbreviation is seen everywhere now. It is largely used in English for WTO too.The abbreviations in English for WTO are basically the same as general English abbreviations,yet they vary in classification,formation,contents,language source and style.Such comparison will enrich the theory of abbreviation and help to eliminate the obstacles in WTO learning,meanwhile has a mastery of it. |
