| 摘 要： | 针对大学生在大学英语四级考试（CET-4）快速阅读中遇到的困难，提出了把语篇分析中的信息结构理论运用到大学英语快速阅读教学中的教学方法。实验研究证实，这种教学方法比传统的教学方法更能有效地提高学生的快速阅读能力。

| Abstract: | In order to adapt to the development of society, the skimming and scanning reading comprehension has been added to the reading comprehension part in College English Test --- Band Four （CET--4）. It is a big challenge for most college students who l]ave been taught by the traditional teaching methods for a long time to correctly deal with a large amount of information at a very limited time. To solve this problem, the author, based on the knowledge of discourse analysis and through the results of empirical study, concludes that the employment of information structure theory to instruct the fast reading teaching will be much more effective and advantageous than the traditional approach. |
