整体语言教学提高学生英语综合能力的实验研究

摘    要:整体语言教学作为一种语言教学思想,近年来被一些国家引入第二语言/外语教学中。明确英语综合能力的含义和整体语言教学的特点及功能是实施整体语言教学的前提,在大学英语教学中实施整体语言教学实验的结果说明整体语言教学有助于培养学生的英语综合能力。

Abstract:As a language teaching approach,whole language teaching approach has been adopted in some countries'ESL/EFL settings in recent years.Making clear the concept of integrated English language competence and characteristics of the whole language teaching approach,is necessary for applying whole language teaching approach in college English teaching.By questionnaire and comparative experiment,the paper show that whole language teaching approach helps improve the English proficiency of non-English majors.
