| Abstract: | Based on an analysis of the situations and issues of College English teaching and learning, this paper provides an introduction to the basic notions of and rationales for thematic instruction and its significance, and a discussion of the proper web-based learning environment and feasible schemes for the implementation of thematic instruction model in College English teaching and learning. |
