| Abstract: | The paper has made a comparative analysis of the pros and cons of teacher education with the respect of the central vs. local, public vs. private, directive vs. nondirective running systems in both China and the U.S. It also proposes to popularize the higher education in China with openness, integration and specialization of teachers so as to ensure Chinese people with a lifelong education. |
