| Abstract: | Pronunciation plays the role of medium in language learning. The fossilization of pronunciation basically affects the sustainable development of language skills. The research, in which some English teachers for non-English majors were invited to present their opinions, discovers the dissatisfaction of the college students＇ pronunciation, the lack in systematization and standardization of the current instruction of pronunciation, and the teachers＇ expectation of certain reform on it. Based on these discoveries and analysis, some feasible suggestions, such as launching pronunciation training for teachers, starting pronunciation classroom teaching and constructing pronunciation research platform, are put forward. |
