地方院校英语课堂阅读焦虑实证研究——以贺州学院为例

摘    要:通过使用外语阅读焦虑量表FLRAS,调查了广西贺州学院120名学生的英语阅读课堂焦虑状况,讨论分析了其与阅读能力和表现自我满意度的相互关系。所得的调查结果表明:焦虑在地方院校学生的英语课堂阅读中存在非常普遍;学生阅读焦虑与英语阅读表现自我满意度的关系是中度相关;阅读焦虑与英语阅读能力自我满意度的关系也呈现出了相互相关关系。本研究结果也为克拉申的情感过滤假说提供了实证数据。

Abstract:Adopting the FLRAS,this study investigated 120 English majors and non-majors.The data and information from the research indicated that(1) the English freshmen commonly experience anxiety in English reading class;(2) The degree of satisfaction in reading performance is correlated with anxiety,namely,the students who were more satisfied with their reading performance experience lower anxiety and vice versa;(3) there is a significant correlation between self-perceived English reading ability and reading anxiety degree,that is,those who perceived that their English reading ability is poor obviously tend to have a higher reading anxiety while those who perceived that they had good reading ability tend to have a lower reading anxiety level.
