| 摘 要： | 人类认知手段的转喻和隐喻是词汇扩展的两种重要方式。转喻的本质是通过某事物的突显特征或与其的特殊关系来辨认该事物，而隐喻则是将熟悉的认知概念映射到陌生的认知领域，生成新的概念借以理解陌生的事物。本文以hand／手为语料，从转喻和隐喻的角度来分析它一词多义的现象。

| Abstract: | As fundamentally different cognitive devices, metonymy and metaphor are two important methods to vocabulary expanding. Metonymy basically involves using a special property of something or its special relationship with other things to refer to it, while metaphor is created to understand a relatively less well-known domain of things in terms of things from relatively better-known domains. The attempt of this paper is to analyze the meaning of＂ hand＂ from the perspective of cognitive metonymy and cognitive metaphor. |
