| 摘 要： | 历史向世界历史的转变，是人类社会发展到一定历史阶段的产物。在世界经济全球化的今天，任何一个国家都不能脱离世界局势和国际环境来实现一国的发展和繁荣。因此，实施西部大开发，是中国经济在新世纪跃上新台阶的重大举措，也是中国迎接经济全球化的挑战，以便利用经济全球化带来的各种有利条件，促进东西部地区经济协调发展，增强国家经济竞争力，从而使国家富强，立足于世界民族之林。

| Abstract: | It is the product of a certain historical period social development has reached that history has taken a form of global history. In the present globalization of world economy, any country could not achieve its development and prosperity without the world situation and intemational environment. Therefore, the exploita-tion of the west of China is an important measure taken by China in the new century as well as challenge for China to face the globalization of economy so as to make use of every favorable condition that has been brought by the globalization to promote harmonious development of the east and west areas of the country, to strengthen the competitive power of the country to ensure that the country will be prosperous and strong enough to hold its position among other nations. |
