| Abstract: | Some basic features of English for science and technology are discussed. That is, a large quantity of scientific and technical vocabulary is widely used as well as the passive voice, the non-predicate verbs, the nominal structures and the long complex sentences whereas the verbal tenses are limitedly used. |
