| 摘 要： | 本文重点探讨作为语篇衔接机制的指称的元符号特点,及其在英汉语篇形成中的作用,籍此探讨英语和汉语在组篇机制方面的异同,认识英汉语篇的特点。本文首先探讨了指称作为元符号在符号系统中的特点,然后探讨了作为元符号的指称在英语语篇中的特点,和在汉语语篇中的特点,接着又探讨了当多个指称同时在一个语篇中出现时元符号指称在汉英两种语言的语篇中的特点。
