| Abstract: | The relation of religion and literature is so close that this paper can combine Hawthome and The Scarlet Letter of him and expound the relationship between the religion and the literary creation from the following points. First, the theme that religion probes into often becomes the topic that literary works concem about; Second, the creations of the literature images surpass and draw lessons from the religion prototypes; Third, the structure of the literary works often reflects the development pattern of the religion stories. |
