| Abstract: | There is a phenomenon during the process of the professional title appraisal for university teachers, in which jurors tend to emphasize more on ones ability on scientific research and less on teaching ability. This article discusses the ways of improving the appraisal methods for teaching; perfecting the hiring system for teaching position; as well as the positive effect and feasibility of making the teaching quality as a prerequisite in the process for promotion in the professional title, so as to guarantee the quality of appraisal process and making it as an incentive to university teachers. |
