| 摘 要： | 双语教育与双语教育学并非一个概念。双语教育是一种社会现象,一种社会实践,或说社会职能;而只有反映双语教育本质和客观规律性的双语教育学,才是一门科学。双语教育学既是应用语言学的研究对象,又是教育语言学的研究范畴,其学科定位是由其研究内容、任务和性质所决定的。双语教育学研究的核心内容是双语教学,主要任务是通过研究双语教育原理、过程和方法,揭示双语教育规律,指导双语教育实践,为培养合格双语人才服务。双语教育学是一门独立的分支学科,它是从语言学和教育学分化出来,而在具体内容上又把两者综合起来的交叉学科;它还是一门理论与实践紧密结合,具有极强实践性的应用学科,应当在社会科学领域占有一席之地。
