| 摘 要： | 高等教育成本分担理论是美国当代著名教育财政专家约翰斯通教授提出的。他认为,高等教育成本应由政府、学生及家长、高校和社会捐赠者共同分担。通过对中美两国私立高校高等教育成本分担现状的研究表明:我国民办普通高校在性质上类似于美国的私立营利性授予学位大学。因此,借鉴美国的经验,加快对我国民办普通高校的分类管理体制改革势在必行。

| Abstract: | The higher education cost-sharing theory, proposed by Professor D. Bruce Johnstone, a well-known educational finance expert in the United States （US）, holds the proposi- tion that the cost of higher education should be shared by government, students and their parents, higher education institutions and donors. This paper analyzes the current situations of higher education cost-sharing mechanisms in China and the US, and concludes that private higher education institutions in China are quite similar to the private-for-profit higher education- al institutions in US. Therefore, it is imperative to speed up the reform of the classified management of private higher education institutions in China from the America experience. |
