| 摘 要： | 地质事业的健康发展，地质科学技术的长足进步，取决于一支高素质的科技队伍、一批高水平的科技人才。地质工作是一项科学技术密集的工作，是一项基础性、探索性很强的工作，地质科学是一门知识积累性科学，地质人才成长需要不断地积累科学知识和实践经验。因此，应该为地质人才的成长和涌现创造良好的条件。首先，要稳定他们的专业，让他们在某一学科领域或某一地区进行长期的调查研究；其次，保证科技人员科研时间，使他们的大部分时间潜心于科学研究；第三，高端科技人才的培养和衡量标准，不但要有地质勘查和科学研究的实践和能力，而且要有较高的理论修养，要在科技创新上见高低。
