| Abstract: | The gemological education has a great impact on the healthy development of the jewelry industry. In this article, the gemological education history, institutions, manner, contents and effect between Chinese and some foreign institutions are compared. Chinese gemological education has a relatively short history. The educational institutions are mainly colleges or universities and the purpose of education is mainly for diploma. The contents are arranged in proper sequence. And the educational effect is not very successful ,especially for those technological academy students and undergraduates. Thus Chinese gemological institutions should adjust themselves in proper aspects to the development of the gemological industry. |
