| 摘 要： | 《钟形罩》是普拉斯的自传体小说。女主人公埃斯特的青春期精神失常和尝试自杀的行为是作者本人经历的真实写照。本文通过分析埃斯特在面临事业和家庭的选择时的困境、保持贞洁的矛盾心态以及其自身的心理问题,试图阐明女性在成长过程中所遭受的困惑、忧虑和失望。

| Abstract: | The Bell Jar is an autobiographical novel written by Sylvia Plath.It follows the real story of the author's experience of adolescent depression and suicide attempts.This paper analyzes the protagonist's dilemma of choosing between career and family to the ambivalence of remaining a virgin as well as her own psychological problems,trying to illustrate young women's bewilderment,apprehension and disappointment on the way to adulthood. |
