| 摘 要： | 严复介绍过来的进化论思想和近代经济政治启蒙思想，对中国近代社会起了很大的影响；他对于中国传统学术的研究，虽没有达到精通西学的权威程度，却也有相当深厚的造诣，在对待中西方文化的态度上，其以一贯的理性与持平的态度进行评价，既肯定了中西方文化各自的长处，也表明了二者的缺陷与不足。严复这种对中西方文化进行批判与反思的努力，旨在寻求中西方文化的交融与会通，希望能开创出一套适合现代中国国情的新文化。

| Abstract: | The evolution theory and modern enlightment of economy and politics intruduced by Yanfu have influnced Chinese modern society greatly,Yanfu who was good at Chinese traditional learning as well as well-informed about western science,affirmed the strong points of Chinese and western culture and indicated the shortcomings of them respectively to promote the interfusion of Chinese and western culture to create a new culture for modern China. |
