论孔子"不轻授"施教方式及其历史影响

摘    要:纵观《论语》,孔子施教,从来“不轻授”。“不轻授”体现在:适时施教、有限施教和“无言”之教等方面。“不轻授”与启发式相生相伴、相辅相成,为学生自求自得提供条件,目的在于形成学生的认识、实践和创造能力等,“不轻授”是孔子实现其培养完美人格教育宗旨的重要方式。历史上,大凡儒学教育等名家无不继承孔子“不轻授”的施教传统,“不轻授”对古代许多优秀教学方法和教学思想的形成均产生过直接的影响作用。现代教学思想与方法的改革,就其本质意义而言也是沿着学生的学习、思考、实践和创造多于教师活动这一方向演进的。因此,“不轻授”的传统在现代亦得到了空前的弘扬。

Abstract:Take an overview at the Anecdotes by Confucius,we can draw a conclusion that when doing the instructing job,Confucius follows the principle of "do not teach easily".This principle is manifested in many aspects:give instructions at the right time;limit the range of teaching;teach without words or speeches etc.As a twin brother of heuristic teaching method--interconnected and compensatory--the "do not teach easily" way of teaching provides fertile soil for the growing of seeds planted by the students.With the purpose of developing students' abilities in knowing,practicing and in creative behavior,this teaching method is an important style adopted by Confucius to realize his motto of teaching--bring inner qualities of the students into a perfect state.Records of the ancient times indicates that almost all the great masters in education field had inherited this way of teaching,thus exerting a direct impact on the formation of many excellent ways and thinkings about teaching.The reform of modern teaching ways and thinkings is in its essence a kind of evolution guarded by the rule that students should spend more time in learning,thinking,practicing and creating rather than merely follow the teachers' instruction.As such is the case,no wonder the flower of "do not teach easily" blooms gloriously in the modern field.
