Abstract:Media's effectiveness,decided by media's internal rules,is the external expression of media's essence and the purpose of media organizations' existence.The paper discusses concept and theory of media's effectiveness and points out that the essence of media economy lies on economic benefits brought by media's effectiveness.Such effectiveness can be social and market-oriented.Comments on media economy focus on the market effectiveness.
