| 摘 要： | 图书馆精神与人类的进取精神相一致，是图书馆的知识本质、信息技术本质和社会本质在人类社会精神形态领域的集中体现。在人类文明史的各个历史阶段，人类的进取精神和与之相应的图书馆精神具有各不相同的具体内容。本文按时间脉络对不同历史阶段的图书馆精神进行了系统的分析与阐述，并在此基础上，探求决定图书馆精神发展与沿革的内在规律和当前及未来发展的历史走向。
