| Abstract: | Abstract Exhibitions have social potential, beyond just the prospect of sharing the experience with a friend standing next to you. We can imagine ways in which the museum space can link art, objects, experiences, people, and technologies to provide a structure within which visitors feel comfortable participating. Their own contributions and the museum’s skillful use of social media can result in a more engaging exhibition, not a dumbing down of the content. |
