| Abstract: | The Microbial Resource Database of China(MRDC)was founded in 1986.The MRDC includes the databases of catalogue of strain,bacteria names,microbial characters and multimedia database of economic fungi in China.For sharing the information resources of the MRDC in a larger area,a world wide web server in Internet is set up.Its address is http://www.im.ac.cn.This paper introduces the history,current status,and future of the MRDC.The data contents of each sub databases in the MRDC are also described. |
