| 摘 要： | 随着搜索引擎的不断发展，元搜索引擎是搜索引擎大军中不可忽视的一类，由于它设计的出发点与独立搜索引擎不一样，使得各类搜索引擎各司其职，具有独特的生存价值。本文主要在元搜索引擎Dogpile的工作原理、检索功能、主要特点、查询结果及其不足等方面进行分析，最后提出了改进元搜索引擎Dogpile的相关建议。

| Abstract: | Under the continuing development of search engines, Metasearch engine is one kind of search engines that cannot be neglected. Because of it' s unique motive of design from other search engines, there are special values in its existence. This article mainly introduces the working principles, search functions, main characteristics, search results of the Metasearch engine, Dogpile, and the analysis its deficiencies. Also this article proposes some suggestions on the improvements for Dogpile. |
