| Abstract: | Using WordSmith software,we analyzed the frequency of words composing the titles of 2869 papers and monographs written by 56 worldwide famous information scientists.The information of research objects and methods involved in the titles are identified,compared and classified,to reveal the focus and to describe the tendency of study in this field.Both information scientists' comprehensive attention to science and their research paradigm of favoring quantitative methods are shown adequately.The research results are divided into two parts.Part one:From what visual angle do the information scientists pay attention to the science? Part two:How do the information scientists study the science? |
