| Abstract: | The special value of citation index in scientific research, information retrieval and technical development is briefly described in this article. Combined with the advantage of XML which as a new standard on nowadays data express and exchange, a citation index model based on XML is brought forward and on the basis of this model proposed a solution of index construction, retrieval method and citation analysis. |
