| Abstract: | A challenge is an attempt to remove or restrict certain materials in a library,based upon the objections of a person or a group.Challenged books are the problems of library collection development and patron services in the U.S.,as well as the windows to understand the intellectual freedom of American libraries.This article analyzes the cause of challenged book problems,and explores the solutions focusing on reconsideration process and collaboration with community,from which inspirations could be drawn. |
