| 摘 要： | 民国时期,中国现代图书馆事业的推动者们广泛宣传馆际互借的意义,通过图书馆协会制订馆际互借办法,推动开展馆际互借;经过图书馆员的努力,民国政府在图书馆法规中,确定了馆际互借作为图书馆工作职责的内容;从图书馆界学者的批评、图书馆借阅统计等方面可以看出,民国时期的馆际互借总体规模处于较低水平;民国时期图书馆界开展馆际互借的基本特点主要有:谨慎选择服务对象;局限于本地区;图书馆协会对开展馆际互借有一定程度的推动;抗战爆发使整个图书馆事业陷入低谷,馆际互借因此失去开展的基础,直至新中国成立,民国时期的馆际互借再也没有出现新的高潮。
