| 摘 要： | 多元文化背景下图书馆服务的理论研究与实践应用项目调查小组运用问卷调查法对我国部分外籍人士进行调查,结果显示,外籍人士阅读的主要目的是提高自己的工作技能和水平、增加生活情趣、提高生活质量.但是语言和文化的差异在很大程度上影响了他们对中国图书资料的阅读.图书馆在外籍人士的阅读生活中占有重要的位置,外籍人士利用图书馆的意愿非常强烈.因此图书馆的多元文化建设应该在其分布、馆藏、设备、服务上加以完善,在多元文化背景下为外籍人士提供具有针对性的信息服务.
