Can Health Services libraries obtain from the Publishers' Association a library licence and thereby receive, from the booksellers they choose to name on their licence, a discount of 10%? Furthermore, can an ‘umbrella licence’ be obtained which covers a group of libraries within one region? The answer to both these questions is now ‘yes’, following a series of negotiations between the North West Regional Health Authority and the Publishers Association.
