| Abstract: | This article analyzes the problems existing in the course of book-purchase for the academic libraries under the new environment which keeps changing externally and internally. The author holds that the work of book-purchase can be perfected by the means of adopting suitable channels and modes of book-purchase, coordination of purchasing of paper-based and electronic publications, cooperation of inter-libraries, strengthening research work, making investigations, and signing contracts with other parties. |
