| Abstract: | Based on the personal working experience in book purchase, the author expounds the tactics of the documents acquisition in university libraries from the following three different angles: the influential factors, principles making and tactics practicing. The author pointed out that acquisition work is a serious project which needs market investigations, researches on service readers, characteristics of book purchasing, funds for purchasing books, information of publication, and rational distribution and storage of literary documents, etc. |
