| 摘 要： | 高校图书馆是否要向社会开放的话题在图书馆界讨论已久。文章从高校图书馆向社会开放的应然性、必然性和可能性三个方面进行论述，得出高校图书馆应向社会开放的结论，并进一步剖析了阻碍高校图书馆向社会开放的外部和内部原因。
