| 摘 要： | 读书活动的兴起是社会发展的必然趋势。基于“世界读书日”的提出、我国知识工程的实施及阅读指导委员会等相关机构的成立等国内外背景，读书活动得到国内众多机构包括高校图书馆的普遍重视并得以广泛开展。文章对多所高校图书馆举办的“读书月”“读书节”的活动内容进行了分析和总结，认为：读书活动应突出主题，创新内容，注重效果评估和资料积累，同时应建立长效机制，吸引教师和馆员的积极参与。参考文献10。
