| 摘 要： | 甲午战争之前,湖南历来被视为"保守之地",却孕育了近代中国第一所省级公共图书馆,也是第一所国立公共图书馆——湖南图书馆。它的成立,意义巨大。近代湖南图书馆产生是近代湖南经济由传统农业向近代工业转型的现实需求。陈宝箴和赵尔巽主政时期,地方政治首脑的强力革新是近代湖南图书馆产生的政治保障。甲午战争后,无论保守派还是立宪派,都有一种渐新的文化思想转变,学会兴起、书院改制、留学海外等都为近代湖南图书馆的产生提供了孕育的思想土壤和直接的人力资源。

| Abstract: | Before the Sino- Japanese War in 1894, people had always regarded Hunan as a conservative district. However, the first provincial public library of modern China was created in Hunan province, which was called ＂ Hunan Library＂. It was of important meaning and enormous function to China. Hunan Library was a real need in modern Hunan＇s economic transformation from traditional agriculture to modern industry. When Hunan was governed by Cheng Baozhen and Zhao Erxun, powerful reformation of local political leaders became a political guarantee which made ＂Hunan Library＂ create. After the Sino -Japanese War in 1894, conservatives and constitutionalists had gradually shifted in cultural thinking. Some factors such as associations＇springing- up, changes of academy system and studying abroad, provided embryonic thoughts soil and direct manpower for the creation of modern Hunan Library. 18 refs. |
