| 摘 要： | 政治是影响我国当代图书馆事业发展最重要的外部环境因素.文章结合我国现代史的研究方式,以十一届三中全会为界标将近六十年国史分为前后两个三十年,重点考察和回顾了在1949～1978年间我国图书馆事业发展受政治运动冲击的状况,认为只有安定和谐的社会政治环境和高度发展的社会经济才能保障图书馆事业的发展,只有改革开放才能提高我国图书馆事业的发展水平.
