| Abstract: | Mr. Wang Yanan launched and edited quite a few scholarly journals in his lifetime. As a distinguished scholar, his unique idea ofwhatmade up a good scholarly journal was naturally influenced by his own research attitude and his own research experiences: research experiences are a basic prerequisite for an editor; a scholarly journal is supposed to lead the research trend and provide a forum for voices from different schools; a good journal is an arena that fosters cre- ative researchers. We, today's editors, still feel enlightened when we look at his editing principles. |
