| 摘 要： | 弗朗西斯·詹金斯·奥尔科特是美国儿童图书馆事业的奠基者之一。1898年她成为匹茨堡卡内基图书馆儿童部首位负责人,在她的领导下,卡内基公共图书馆儿童服务广泛延伸到社会各个阶层;她首次开设儿童图书馆员培训班,培训班很快发展成为一所专业的、授予证书的培训学校。卡内基图书馆还是美国第一个制定儿童服务发展标准的组织有序的公共图书馆。奥尔科特的儿童图书馆实践与研究是世界儿童图书馆事业的宝贵财富,对处于“十四五”开局之年的我国儿童图书馆谋划更好地开展弱势儿童扶贫工作具有重要的借鉴意义和现实价值。

| Abstract: | Francis Jenkins Alcott is one of the founders of American children’s library business.In 1898,she became the first head of the Children’s Department of Carnegie Library in Pittsburgh.Under her leadership,the children’s services of Carnegie Public Library were extended to all walks of life.She opened a training course for children librarians for the first time and the training course quickly developed into a professional and certificate-granting training school.Carnegie Library is also the first well-organized public library in the United States to formulate standards for the development of children’s services.The practice and research of Alcott’s children’s library is a valuable asset of the world’s children’s library business. |
