| Abstract: | The author holds that the Chinese Book Classification Method is not suitable for the classification of scientific papers from the angles of its specialty characteristics, the standardization of the editing and layout of academic journals and the actual requirements of document retrieval. The Subject Code is recommended to be used as the identifier of scientific papers. |
