| 摘 要： | 通过对17世纪中期科学家间私人通信与科技期刊诞生之关系的历史考察，揭示了科技期刊社会功能的最初表现形式和发展形式，并就科技期刊如何演化为科学信息交流与传播的强大主媒体及其功能的结构层次给予信息学诠释。

| Abstract: | Through a historical investigation into the relations between the private correspondence among scientists and the advent of sci-tech periodicals in the mid-seventeenth century, we have discovered the earliest forms and the growing patterns of the function of sci-tech periodicals, thus providing an explanatory note to the evolution of sci-tech periodicals into a powerful medium for scientific information exchanging and spreading and to the different levels of its functional structure. |
