| Abstract: | The editorial work of pop science periodicals is different from that of academic journals because the former needs to face the market. This paper expresses some views on the characteristics of pop science periodicals editorial practice. It is suggested that editors of pop science periodicals should be farsighted in the positioning of periodicals and have market-consciousness in the designing of choosing topics. Furthermore, academic factors and novelty factors of an article should be taken into consideration simultaneously while editors do the work of evaluation. |
