| Abstract: | The topic selection by the editors of journals of universities and colleges is benefitial for the implementation of editing policies, the realization of publishing aims and the improvement of journal quality. The author holds that three principles must be followed by the editors while selecting topics: paying more attention to the scientific level and creativity of the contributions , better serving the readers and the market, and finally striving for the unique style and fast publication. |
